Gail was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. After spending a year in New York City at New York University she returned to Florida and finished up college at the University of Central Florida in Orlando where she graduated cum laude in 2004 with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations and a minor in Political Science. During college, Gail worked as an office assistant at a medical malpractice law firm in downtown Orlando.
After college and a summer of backpacking through Europe, she followed in her father's footsteps by enrolling in law school. In 2008 Gail received her Juris Doctor degree from Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law at Barry Universitywhere she graduated magna cum laude and received awards for earning the highest grade in the class for Legal Research and Writing, Civil Procedure, Wills and Trusts and Commercial Law. During law school Gail served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Barry Law Review where she was responsible for the publication of two law review journals, as well as hosting a live symposium. During her time in law school, Gail studied abroad for a semester in London,England, interned with a Fortune 500 company, served as a research assistant, and became a Certified Legal Intern with Barry's Children & Families Legal Clinic where she defended juveniles charged with criminal offenses in court.
Prior to joining Diez-Arguelles & Tejedor, Gail was a Prosecutor with the 7th Judicial Circuit in Volusia County, Florida. During her time with the State Attorney's Office, Gail sat first and second chair on numerous jury trials, bench trials, and violation of probation hearings, as well as successfully argued countless motions and other pre-trial matters. Gail now practices in the areas of general negligence, medical malpractice, auto accidents and slip and fall. Gail is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts.
